5.1- Critique your Competitor's E-Commerce Website

Papa Johns' allows its customers to order their products on their website, therefore the business itself is capable of selling its products through the internet. The website also offers gift cards, has a menu to display its products, and it even has a Spanish version of itself available.

E-Commerce Rules:

Rule 1-The website should offer something unique. (Papa Johns' website gives its customers points to free products whenever they order on their website, encouraging them to order more from their website.) 4/5

Rule 2-The website must be aesthetically pleasing. ( The website has a pleasing yet average background design and it shows high quality pictures of their products.) 3/5

Rule 3- The website must be easy and fast. (The website is simplistic in what you want to look for, whether from products, gift cards, or store location.) 5/5

Rule 4- The website  must motivate people to visit, to stay, and to return. (It has little unique features that allow customers to order more from their website rather than going to one of their stores.) 2/5

Rule 5- You must advertise your presence on the web. (Not that common on the web.) 1/5

Rule 6- You should learn from your website. ( The website itself is pretty basic, not much to learn from.) 1/5

Rating: 3/5- The website does allow customers to order on their website and offers several deals and coupons as well, and it is not complicated to use and understand. The website however is basic in appearance and will only hold the users attention for awhile (On alexa.com, it shows that only 2% of people in America visit the website). It is not as innovative because some of its features are also being used by other competing websites as well.
